2011 Cohort:

Both Peter and Khoi have had years of experience both as UMAT students as well as in their current position as tutors. This allows them to empathise with students as well as passing on their own experience, tips and tricks that enable students to succeed.

My own experience as a student was both positive and beneficial. The format of each class is semi formal in a group setting which encourages discussion, personal development socially as well as being a platform to engage and discuss methods and techniques that each student has found to be helpful. In regards to the tutors, Peter and Khoi bring a wealth of knowledge having mentored dozens of successful applicants into health science programs. They have each developed ways of tackling specific styles of questions with was invaluable in my preparation. I highly recommend seeing these guys if you are serious about achieving your goals.

During the time I was studying for the UMAT, I could not ask for a more welcoming tutor to help me with this test. The teaching and preparation material provided to us gave a different perspective of approaching questions that were unique and congruent to my learning style. I am very happy with the education provided here as the tutors were both encouraging and enthusiastic to teach.

Studying Medicine has always been a dream for me. Getting lessons from Peter and Khoi was the best thing I have done for myself to allow me to achieve this. The tutors stand above and beyond in that they see each student as individuals with different strengths and weaknesses and tailors teaching to their individual needs. As a result, I got a lot better at section 3 problem solving skills, which ultimately allowed me to achieve the score I needed. I don’t think I would be in the fortunate position I am in now as a medical student if it weren’t for these amazing tutors. I would definitely recommend this tutoring service to anyone who asks me.

Khoi was an exceptional tutor and mentor. He was knowledgable, professional and genuinely invested in helping us succeed. The Umat had been the biggest barrier to me entering medical school. But with Khoi's help the second time around I was able to reach the cut off score and be invited back for an interview. I am now in my final year of medicine and cannot speak highly enough of Khoi and his program. I would highly recommend Khoi to family and friends who are interested in receiving extra help for the umat.
